Leather Reciprocation Abrasion Tester

Application

This machine is to test the abrasion resistance of the sole leather.

Working Principles

The surfaces of two square test samples were brought into contact with the standard abrasive agent. Then, these test samples moved back and forth on the abrasive agent under the action of a constant force. To maintain the grinding effect during the test, an air extraction system was used to remove dust as the abrasive agent gradually flowed beneath the samples. Subsequently, the average thickness reduction rate per thousand cycles of each test sample material within most of its thickness (excluding approximately the last 1.0 mm section) was determined.
