Existing data indicates that there is no significant difference in the bursting strength results obtained using hydraulic and pneumatic bursting instruments when the pressure does not exceed 800kPa. This pressure includes the performance level of most ordinary clothing. For special textiles that require high bursting pressure, hydraulic method is more suitable
