Test Modes

  • Standard Mode: EN12875-1 and BS 5416 Article 8.3.
  • Custom Mode: User-defined cycles for time, temperature, dosage, and number of operations.

These cycles simulate dishwashing performance and check whether products show discoloration, cracking, opening, or deterioration after repeated cleaning.

Test Cycle Stages (EN12875-1, BS 5416 Article 8.3)

  1. Drain: Empty dishwasher with water pump.
  2. Pre-Wash:
    • Fill dishwasher with water.
    • Circulate for 5 ± 0.5 min.
    • Drain again.
  3. Main Wash:
    • Add 6.0 ± 0.5 L of water and 24 ± 3 g detergent per liter.
    • Heat to 60 ± 2°C while circulating for 20 ± 1 min.
    • Continue circulation for 3 ± 1 min without heating.
  4. Rinse:
    • Add water.
    • Circulate for 3 ± 0.5 min.
    • Drain system.
  5. Final Wash:
    • Refill with water.
    • Heat to 65 ± 2°C.
    • Add 2.5–3.0 g bleach per 6.0 ± 0.5 L of water (at 40–45°C).
    • Pump circulation continues until water reaches 65 ± 2°C.
  6. Drying:
    • Keep door closed for 3 ± 1 min.
    • Open door for 30 ± 1 min.

Performance Features

  • Water softener (cation exchanger) controls hardness at 0.3–0.6 mmol/L (ISO 6059 method).
  • Fixed water volume: 6.0 ± 0.5 L per test cycle.
  • Water pressure: 5–100 N/cm² (pump lift 0.3–0.4 MPa).
  • Thermostat accuracy: ±2°C.
  • Automatic detergent/bleach dosing for each cycle.
  • Door actuation ensures automatic repetition of test cycles.
  • Cycle counter records both single and cumulative runs.
  • Programmable temperature up to 70°C (custom mode).
  • Automatic alarms after cycle completion.
  • Data export via USB (raw data and formatted reports).

Construction and Safety

  • Stainless steel main frame for durability.
  • Leak-proof bottom tray with drainage to prevent overflow.
  • High-reliability baskets:
    • Upper basket: supports 10 kg.
    • Lower basket: supports 20 kg.
  • Basket partitions designed for cookware (pots, milk pots, woks).
  • Group design: 3 test stations with independent circuits, ensuring one station’s fault does not affect the others.
  • Door protection system: disables spray if door is open or improperly closed.
  • Compliance: EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-5, BS 5416.
  • Includes spare consumable parts for maintenance.
