Overview

The Ceramic Impact Tester is a specialized device designed to predict the resistance to impact breakage of ceramic products during service. This Impact Tester performs tests on flatware and hollow ware, assessing impact resistance at the center and rim, as well as chipping resistance at the rim. Suitable for both glazed and unglazed specimens, it is widely used in the ceramics industry.

Application

  • Ceramic Impact Tester predicts the resistance to impact breakage of ceramic products in service, which covers two test methods:
  • Impact tests at the center of both flatware and hollow ware and at the rim or hollow ware;
  • Chipping tests at the rim of flatware. Specimens may be either glazed or unglazed.
